Civils Site Manager

Sonas Technical are currently seeking a Site Manager for a Data Centre project based in South-West Dublin. Experience with Groundworks and large scale projects would be beneficial. You will be joining the team on an initial on a Data Centre project in Dublin for a Blue-Chip client. This is a full time permanent position for the successful candidate and you will be based on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Monitor attendance of construction crews
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
• Works with site management to programme works

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Full Driving License
• Previous Site Management experience required minimum 5 years
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Problem-solving abilities
• Current relevant qualifications (SSSTS/ Bachelors Degree etc.)
• Experience working on pharma or data centre projects is preferred
