We’re assisting a leading and innovative construction company in Dublin in their search for  an experienced Technical Bid Manager. They company in question are an ambitious, expanding firm, and it’s an exciting time to join them as they go from strength-to-strength.

We are looking for a results-driven Technical Bid Manager who will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities for the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, from identifying potential opportunities to developing winning proposals, as well as inbound enquiries. The Technical Bid Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and project management, to ensure their bids align with client requirements and showcase technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Opportunity Identification:
    • Proactively identify potential business opportunities and tenders within the sector.
    • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities.
  2. Bid Management:
    • Lead the entire bid process, ensuring compliance with client specifications and requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical information, project costs, and other relevant data required for bid submissions.
    • Develop and maintain a bid library with up-to-date technical content and templates.
  3. Proposal Development:
    • Craft compelling and technically sound proposals that address client needs and highlight strengths.
    • Work closely with technical experts to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.
    • Create visually appealing presentations and documentation to support bid submissions.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
    • Facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on bid progress and address any challenges or concerns.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough reviews of bid documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.
    • Implement feedback and lessons learned from previous bids to continuously improve the quality of future submissions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Proven experience in technical bid management within the Manufacturing, Construction, or Engineering industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of successful bid submissions.
