Timber Frame Designer

We’re working with an innovative construction company in their search for a dedicated Timber Frame Designer in Meath, to support Roof Truss design and sales capacity to ensure a smooth operation end to end. This is a full-time, permanent position with a growing company.

Responsibilities  

• Collaborate with the design manager and customers so that designs are co-ordinated with architectural, structural and M&E designs
• Produce drawings, formulate schedules and distribute design information to the Production
• Work closely with production team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing
• Update and coordinate any design amendments
• Produce accurate estimates for customers
• Ability to interpret our engineer’s calculations and incorporate it into timber frame design
• Ensuring clear communication with customers and external architects, answering any technical queries
• Working with Auto Cad 3D software and Mitek software
• Ability to problem solve if any issues arise
• Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time
