Crane Electrician/ Service Engineer (Dublin based)

Sonas Technical are currently on the lookout to recruit a Crane Electrician/ Service Engineer to join a close client of ours who are a leading manufacturer of lifting and handling equipment in Ireland. The successful candidate should come from a mechanical background and have experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Installation, testing & commissioning of lifting and handling equipment
• Ensure repairs, inspections, and any maintenance work is carried out within set time scales
• Provide, build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure that all customer service standards are met
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns / issues with cranes and other lifting equipment for clients
• Carry out and document preventative maintenance checks
• Responding to unplanned and emergency maintenance

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician (Trade Cert) or Level 8 degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience working with lifting and handling equipment is a distinct advantage
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling
• Full clean drivers license

Rates: €24 per hour (varies depending on experience)
