Sonas Technical are currently on the lookout to recruit an experienced Design Engineer for a close client of ours in the Monaghan area. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Ireland’s leading provider of specialized equipment to the Agricultural sector.

The successful candidate will have experience in using Tekla Structures design software.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist in all aspects of the design process.
– All design work is completed in the latest computer 3D technology to produce a complete and efficient design.
– Planning project programs/scheduling
– Preparing submittals
– Creating, adjusting and updating Tekla drawings
– Pricing supplier parts for quotations
– Liaise with customers on site to arrange services and extra works

Key Requirements

– Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering
– Experience working with Tekla and other 3D design packages
– Ability to work on own initiative
– Strong analytical and technical skills
– Ability to communicate effectively with customers and represent the company
