Critical Engineering Shift Leader – Data Centre

Our client are currently seeking a Critical Engineering Shift Leader to join their team in Dublin. Our client specialises in designing, building and operating hyperscale data centres for global clients.

This is a site based role on a continental shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team carrying out electrical and mechnical maintanance activities within a data centre development.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of shift technicians and sub-contractors
• Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems to maintain 100% uptime availability
• Management, delivery and oversight of the site Permit to Work system
• Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems
• Ensuring a positive Health & Safety culture is promoted and maintanined across the site
• Management and coordination of all planned peventative maintenance scheduled activity

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering or equilevant
• Post qualification experience in a supervisory role
• Experience of maintaning electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting/repair of low & medium voltage electrical systems
• Experience in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical/HVAC systems
• Experience of electrical power monitoring systems in data centres or similar environments
• Knowledge and experience of working to international HSE Standards
