Our client are currently seeking a Critical Engineering Shift Technician to join their team in Dublin. Our client specialises in designing, building and operating hyperscale data centres for global clients.
This is a site based role on a continental shift pattern.

Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems to maintain 100% uptime availability
- Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems
- Ensuring a positive Health & Safety culture is maintanined across the site
- Troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution
- Co-ordination and liaison with all other IT staff within the company and with any third-party business partner or vendor
- Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
- Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering or equilevant
- Post qualification experience in a similar role
- Experience of maintaning electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting/repair of low & medium voltage electrical systems
- Experience in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical/HVAC systems
- Experience of electrical power monitoring systems in data centres or similar environments
- Knowledge and experience of working to international HSE Standards
