Mechanical Estimator

Sonas Technical are looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator for our client one of Irelands leading Mechanical Services and Contractor, who have built a strong reputation for a diverse range of mechanical construction services. Projects can be nationwide but will predominantly be in the greater Dublin area and will vary in type including commercial, industrial, and residential.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, attending mid and post tender meetings and post tender control. Conversion of estimates to tender submission.
• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for project
• Prepare and manage tender documentation, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work, adjusting the budget projections accordingly.
• Work alongside the clients and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers

Key Requirements 

• 5+ years experience estimating Mechanical projects
• A building services related qualification would be considered an advantage
• Remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
