Our client is seeking a Site Performance Engineer to join their team in Dublin. Our client specialises in designing, building and operating hyperscale data centres.

The successful candidate will work with the site management team and ensures all local maintenance activities are planned and coordinated in line with the agreed maintenance schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Engineering Operations Manager, Team Leaders, and technicians to prioritize maintenance tasks and create comprehensive work orders.
  • Support incident and change management processes from an engineering perspective.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Provide technical oversight for facility operations, including monitoring the BMS system and assessing contractor performance.
  • Assist in implementing and utilizing the local CAFM (Computer Assisted Facility Management) system.
  • Aid Central Planning and local engineering teams in meeting targets and attend customer meetings as required.
  • Ensure flawless maintenance execution, targeting 100% uptime and zero customer disruptions.
  • Coordinate site maintenance work orders, labor, parts, and vendor schedules.
  • Manage RAMS, PTW, and access requirements to facilitate smooth engineering operations.
  • Review and audit technical documentation from vendors.
  • Collaborate with global Site Performance Engineers and the Senior Planner on maintenance schedules and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate CAFM asset records, parts inventory, equipment details, and schedules.
  • Provide support to other global site-based engineers as directed by the Senior Planner.
  • Contribute to improving CAFM and BMS systems across sites to optimize maintenance performance.
  • Analyze planning failures, generate incident reports, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Serve as a local subject matter expert for the CAFM system.
  • Ensure the local site team adheres to process workflows in coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Manage updates to CAFM software in collaboration with the Senior Planner.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance checks for documentation and work order closure.
  • Foster collaboration between the local site team and external vendors.
  • Play a key role in incident and change management processes.
  • Oversee the quality assurance aspects of CAFM processes and technical procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with CAFM systems.
  • Experience in BMS operations and management.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH qualification (or working towards it).
  • Engineering qualification, NVQ Level 5 or higher.
  • Experience in maintenance planning within a critical environment, including control of RAMS and PTW processes.
  • Proficiency in using and operating BMS systems, preferably Schneider Eco Structure.
  • Essential CAFM experience, preferably with Oracle.
  • Ability to independently solve issues and report back to the engineering team.
  • Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Proven planning and scheduling skills within a critical environment.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure key deliverables are met.
