CSA Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with our client to hire a CSA Quantity Surveyor to focus on projects within the Life Sciences sector in Cork.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a site based Engineering Team

The roles will include all aspects of Quantity Surveying both pre and post-contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quantity Surveying for pre and post-contract activities
• Implementing ‘Lean’ project delivery
• Independent and team-based work
• Capital cost estimates, TVD implementation
• Assisting in tendering procedures and contract arrangements
• Prepare pricing documents for tender packages
• Providing advice on tendering procedures
• Drafting instructions to tenderers, evaluation criteria
• Handling queries during tender period

Key Requirements:

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in pre/post contract duties in Consultant/Main contractor environment
• Strong understanding of building detail and construction technology
• Strong IT skills in Excel, Cost X and Outlook
