Graduate Engineer | Client Side

Role Overview
We’re currently on the lookout for a Graduate Engineer to work on €100+ million life sciences project in Cork.  This role is with a leading global Life Sciences firm who have a multi billion turnover. The lucky person will get the opportunity to work directly client side alongside the project lead and receive a strong remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete walkdowns on-site during the construction phase, ensuring that day to day operations
• Experience of preparing Contract documents and Project Management would be an advantage
• Attend meetings when required
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
• Work closely with the design team and ensure that all technical inputs are considered in the project delivery
• Liaison with the project delivery team including Site Management and Supervision staff
• Understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work, Building Regulations and an up-to-date knowledge of products
• Must be able to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks and projects
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained
• Overseeing that quality throughout the project delivery is maintained

Key Requirements: 

• Relevant Construction or Engineering Degree
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Building Projects acting as a Site Engineer, Setting out Engineer, CSA Engineer or Project Engineer
• Strong operational skills and an attention to detail
• Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail
