Junior Project Scheduler

Our client, a global engineering, procurement, construction management, and validation (EPCMV) firm that serves clients in various industries, including advanced technology, life sciences, and food and beverage are currently searching for a Junior Project Scheduler in Dublin.  The successful candidate will receive an excellent remuneration package and work on a multi million pharmaceutical projects.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client.
• Defining project objectives that align with client expectations and ensuring the realization of goals and timelines.
• Executing projects through a well-established Quality and Management system.
• Taking charge of project schedules and project control tools, including development and management.
• Identifying project milestones and diligently monitoring and reporting on their progress.
• Leading and facilitating Interactive Planning Workshops.
• Conducting Critical Path development and analysis.
• Demonstrating proficiency in utilizing MS Project and Primavera Scheduling tools.
• Collaborating closely with the project management team, providing regular updates on schedule performance.
• Contributing valuable insights to Constructability Reviews.
• Establishing resource requirements for project schedules.
• Developing and communicating tools to support the achievement of project goals.
• Offering performance updates and reports for the early identification of variances and the implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements

• Hold a third-level degree, preferably in project management or a related field (or equivalent, such as PMI Certification).
• Proficiency in using Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Self-driven and capable decision-maker.
