Mechanical Lead

Our client, a global engineering, procurement, construction management, and validation (EPCMV) firm that serves clients in various industries, including advanced technology, life sciences, and food and beverage are currently searching for a Mechanical Lead.

The successful candidate will receive an excellent remuneration package and work on a multi million pharmaceutical project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Mechanical Construction in the pharmaceutical industry, including equipment and piping installations and construction field coordination
• Coordinate contractor activities to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget
• Participate in Constructability, Planning, and Safety reviews
• Review project scope, budget, and schedule, and manage workload of multiple projects
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations on site
• Program works schedule and monitor building progress and costs
• Possess proficiency in reading and interpreting standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts, and proposals
• Experience with construction, startup, and turnover of facilities systems through commissioning/handover would be an advantage

Key Requirements:

• Degree in relevant Engineering field
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Construction
• 5+ years in pharma/ biopharma preferred
• Proficiency in a windows-based environment and software, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, advanced Excel, and Access
• Knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry is preferred
