Mechanical Superintendent | Contract

Our client, a global engineering, procurement, construction management, and validation (EPCMV) firm that serves clients in various industries, including advanced technology, life sciences, and food and beverage are currently searching for a Mechanical Superintendent. Our client offer a range of services, from project management to process design and construction, and focus on delivering innovative solutions that meet their clients’ specific needs. The successful candidate will receive an excellent remuneration package and work on a multi million pharmaceutical project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Mechanical Construction in the pharmaceutical industry, including equipment and piping installations and construction field coordination
• Coordinate contractor activities to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget
• Participate in Constructability, Planning, and Safety reviews
• Review project scope, budget, and schedule, and manage workload of multiple projects
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations on site
• Program works schedule and monitor building progress and costs
• Possess proficiency in reading and interpreting standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts, and proposals
• Experience with construction, startup, and turnover of facilities systems through commissioning/handover would be an advantage

Key Requirements:

• Degree in relevant Engineering field
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Construction
• 5+ years in pharma/ biopharma preferred
• Proficiency in a windows-based environment and software, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, advanced Excel, and Access
• Knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry is preferred
