Process Engineer

Our client, a leading Irish project management and consultancy firm that operate in pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, data centres, energy, and healthcare industries are searching for a Process Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing process engineering support and expertise to a variety of projects across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and energy. The successful person will be receive an excellent renumeration package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement process engineering solutions to meet project requirements.
• Conduct process simulations and modelling to optimize production processes.
• Participate in process hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Work with project teams to ensure that all process systems are installed and commissioned in accordance with project timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical support to production teams to optimize process performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering in the pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, or energy industries.
• Proficient in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
• Experience in process hazard analysis and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
