Our client, a Global purification leader with a European Head Office are seeking a Client Acquisition Manager to work as their first Irish employee. This is a fully remote role but the successful candidate must be based in Ireland
- Generate Business Opportunities: Your primary role is to identify and cultivate new business prospects within our strategic target markets.
- Technical and Commercial Solutions: Collaborate with our in-house specialists to provide technical and commercial solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of potential clients.
- Opportunity Management: Actively monitor and manage opportunities using our sales-focused CRM system. Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospects at various levels, including purchasing, process engineering, and plant management.
- Quotation Management: Efficiently prepare and present offers, responding promptly to incoming requests.
- Expand Customer Base: Utilize proactive prospecting techniques to broaden our customer base within your designated region. This may involve participation in international trade fairs several times a year.
- Frequent Travel: Be ready for regular travel within your assigned region, including overnight stays. Occasional trips to our headquarters in Belgium may also be necessary.
- On-site Engagement: Dedicate a significant portion of your time to in-person engagement with prospects and customers, emphasizing relationship building and nurturing (~3 days per week).

The Ideal Candidate
- Must have an educational background in chemical or environmental engineering or significant experience in water filtration/water treatment.
- Strong Communication and Negotiation Abilities: Proficient in effective communication and skilled in negotiation.
- Self-Driven and Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated, target-driven, and possesses a tenacious “hunter” mindset.
- Readiness for Frequent Travel: Willing and flexible when it comes to regular travel, including overnight stays.
- Fluent in English; Additional Languages a Valuable Addition: Fluent in English, and proficiency in other languages is considered a valuable asset.
