CSA Design Coordinator

Sonas Technical are currently seeking an experienced CSA Design Coordinator to join our client, a leading Utilities Contractor with operations across Ireland. The client in question are a leading provider of Specialist Design, Engineering and Construction Services across a variety of key sectors including Data Centres, Renewables and Transmission and Distribution Utilities.

You will be based in Limerick.  This is a full-time, permenent position.

Key responsibilities

• Competent in co-ordinating complex design activities between owners, owner’s engineers, internal design/construction teams, and sub-designers.
• Competent in managing design scope, quality and project timelines required to achieve contract milestones.
• Competent in reviewing detailed construction drawings of reinforced concrete elements like foundations, column, beams, walls, slab, staircase., etc.
• Experience of all project phases from planning through to construction and operation/maintenance.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team to deliver industrial/commercial projects.
• Knowledge of a broad range of civil engineering fields (SuDS/drainage, roads/transport, concrete, steel, masonry, geotechnics, utilities, etc) would be a distinct advantage; however, it is not necessary to have technical expertise in all of these areas.
• Experience interacting with International clients.
• Project management experience from a design perspective, or in D&B projects with a contractor.
• Experience in the HV is desirable

Requirements:

• Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 5 to 10 years experience in civil and structural consultancy and/or site-based construction.
• Chartered Engineer status desirable
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional planning/organisational skills and being deadline oriented
• Ability to work with different software systems
