Design Engineer

Our client, a leading contractor specializing in electrical services for various projects within the water sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. This role entails a combination of remote work and weekly on-site visits to regions including Louth, Dublin, Cavan, and Monaghan.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a project team to develop electrical system designs.
• Create Electrical Engineering Solutions in strict adherence to industry regulations and standards.
• Engage closely with clients and project engineers to articulate project requirements and technical solutions.
• Establish robust design processes and deliverables.
• Lead pre-construction activities encompassing design development, coordination, and technical submissions.
• Provide essential technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams.
• Offer off-site technical assistance to construction teams.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• A tertiary-level qualification.
• Over three years of hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering/Design.
• Familiarity with Dialux and Amtech, though not mandatory, would be advantageous.
• A strong background in project stakeholder interaction.
• Competency in compiling comprehensive scope of works packages.
• Exceptional teamwork skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
