Our client, a leading provider of Renewable Energy Solutions is seeking a Document Controller for their Waterford based office. This role will report directly to the Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full administration support to the project team
• The main point of contact for the project with both external and internal contacts
• Manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the administration of projects
• Set up and manage a document and information control system for the project
• Data input and filing of incoming drawings and other design documentation and copy of distribution
• Set up and configure a document control system to support projects
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings and other construction documents i
• Ensure that an effective internal review loop is maintained so that all documents are properly reviewed by the Project Team
• General administration including typing, distribution, copying and filing general correspondence
• Assist on planning applications & paperwork where required
• Ensure outside contractors return information in time for deadlines
• Liaise with accounts dept regarding projects completion for invoicing
• Implement Quality, Health & Safety Management System for ISO accreditation

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of working on a construction site environment (in a similar role) preferable
  • Experience in iso 9000,14000,18000
  • Ability prioritise a large and varied work load
  • Providing key support to the project team
  • Create relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  •  Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  •  Qualification in Quality, Business Administration, Engineering of Science advantageous
