Our client is currently seeking a Document Controller to join their team in Cork. The client is question is at the forefront of the global landscape, providing specialized Design, Engineering, and Construction Services across a diverse range of critical sectors, including Data Centers, Renewables, and Transmission and Distribution Utilities. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.

Duties:

  • Collaborate effectively within a high-performing project team to establish and uphold the Project Document Plan, providing timely updates.
  • Conduct thorough quality assessments on all documentation before sharing it with clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documents.
  • Disseminate reports and updates to Project Teams.
  • Document and issue project meeting minutes when required.
  • Adhere rigorously to Project Management and Document Control protocols for document storage.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information in strict accordance with legal regulations.
  • Provide guidance to users on the proper utilization of the document management system, ensuring consistent system usage.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and extend support as necessary.
  • Engage in impromptu project tasks and fulfill additional administrative responsibilities as directed by the Project Management Team.
  • Deliver day-to-day support to the project team, ensuring the execution of quality systems aligns with stipulated requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Document Controller/Project Administration role within an engineering or construction environment.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Quality Standards and Document Control Procedures.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational and planning skills, complemented by robust communication abilities.
  • Prove yourself as a dependable team player with effective leadership qualities.
  • Showcase the ability to efficiently prioritize workloads.
  • Display acute attention to detail.
  • Possess self-motivation and the capacity to work independently.
