Electrical Site Manager

Our client is seeking an Electrical Site Manager to join their team in Dublin. Our client is a leading global Provider of Specialist Design, Engineering and Construction Services across a variety of key sectors including Data Centres, Renewables and Transmission and Distribution Utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical teams on construction projects, providing direction, guidance, and technical expertise. Foster a collaborative and motivated environment to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee all electrical activities on-site, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination between all parties involved in the project.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and technologies related to Data Centers, Renewables, and Transmission and Distribution Utilities. Provide solutions to technical challenges and ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources. Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to stay on track with project milestones.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address any obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Generate regular progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics for project stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Ideal candidates should have 5 years + experience working in the Mechanical/Electrical Industrial Engineering Industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
