Quantity Surveyor

Our client are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Galway. Our client is a highly regarded contractor specializing in project solutions for the water and wastewater industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Project Managers on designated projects.
• Represent projects in monthly commercial reviews with clients.
• Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with all clients.
• Ensure the administration of all commercial obligations in accordance with contract agreements.
• Assist in building project cost estimates and forecasts.
• Analyze commercial proposals from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Generate monthly subcontractor payment certificates.
• Maintain a monthly cash flow report.
• Provide support to other project team members as necessary.
• Report to the Commercial and Managing Director.

Requirements:

• A qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience on medium to large projects within the water industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage change control.
• Experience in budget management.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Keen attention to detail and a structured approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
