Quantity Surveyor

My client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with more than 5 years of experience to join their team working on renewable and Fibre projects. This role involves contributing to both new and ongoing projects with the option of working from their offices in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, or Kerry.

Collaborating with the  Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for various aspects within the commercial and construction teams, including project delivery, relationship management, optimizing returns, and risk management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assisting with tender preparations, subcontractor analysis, and order finalization.
• Managing subcontractors’ financial and commercial aspects, overseeing activities until project completion.
• Handling forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, and site documentation.
• Collaborating with the site management team, offering commercial insights and addressing contractual concerns.
• Providing supervision and guidance to Assistant Quantity Surveyors (AQS) and Trainee Quantity Surveyors (TQS), including quality checks and addressing measurement issues.

Qualifications:

• Relevant third-level qualification and chartered registration.
• Over 5 years of experience in Engineering quantity surveying.
• Over 5 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, target setting, and reconciliations.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
