Renewable Contracts Manager

Job Title: Contracts Manager – Renewable Energy Solutions Location: Waterford

Company Overview: Our client is a leading provider of Renewable Energy Solutions dedicated to delivering sustainable energy solutions. They are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Waterford. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of renewable energy projects while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Electrical/Mechanical Installation: Oversee the installation of renewable energy systems, ensuring they are executed efficiently and to the required standards.
2. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including specifications, plans, and reports.
3. Equipment Specification: Collaborate with the technical team to specify the required equipment and materials for projects.
4. Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors and the scheduling of their work to ensure project milestones are met.
5. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are rigorously followed on-site, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.
6. Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively.
7. Continuous Learning: Proactively develop and expand technical skills and knowledge to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
8. Team Collaboration: Share your knowledge and skills with other team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
9. Health and Safety: Demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe work environment for all involved.
10. KPI Achievement: Work towards and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery and quality.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Education: Hold a third-level Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mechanical/Electrical Services, with a track record of successful project management on projects valued at 5 million or more.
• Driving License: Hold a full clean driving license.
• People Skills: Exhibit excellent people management skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
• Flexibility: Be willing to travel as required to oversee projects and meet business needs.
• Renewable Energy Knowledge: Knowledge of renewable energy systems, particularly Solar PV and Wind Turbines, is advantageous.
• Learning Attitude: Demonstrate an open, positive attitude towards continuous learning and skill development across a broad range of competencies.
