Senior Design Engineer

Our client, a Contractor in the water sector, specializes in providing electrical services for Irish Water projects are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. This role involves remote work with weekly site visits to the Louth, Dublin, Cavan, and Monaghan areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on electrical system design within a project team.
• Develop Electrical Engineering Solutions in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Work closely with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and technical solutions.
• Establish design processes and deliverables.
• Lead pre-construction activities, including design development, coordination, and technical submissions.
• Offer technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams.
• Provide off-site technical support to construction teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a 3rd level qualification.
• Possesses 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering/Design.
• Familiarity with Dialux and Amtech is advantageous.
• Experience in project stakeholder interaction.
• Competent in compiling scope of works packages.
• Exhibits strong teamwork skills
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail.
