Site Engineer

Our client is looking for a Civil Site Engineer to join their team across sites in Northern Ireland. Our client is a reputable Civil Engineering company known for delivering high-quality projects in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will primarily work on clean and wastewater projects in Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret construction drawings on-site, effectively conveying layout details and material measurements.
• Ensure precise setting out by establishing accurate lines, levels, and reference points at the construction site.
• Facilitate progress on-site, ensuring timely project milestone completion.
• Foster professional relationships and skillfully manage interactions with clients and subcontractors.
• Collaborate closely with team members to maintain Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards during the project phase.
• Stay updated on industry developments, share best practices with supervisors and relevant personnel.
• Adhere to the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 2-3+ years of practical on-site experience
• Experience within the water sector is advantageous.
• Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
• Possession of a full, valid driving license.
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects from inception to completion.
• Results-oriented, motivating the team to achieve key targets.
• Strong communication skills and solid commercial awareness.
