We are currently seeking a Technical Document Controller, to join our client, a global leader in providing specialized design, engineering, and construction services in key sectors such as Data Centers, Renewables, and Transmission and Distribution Utilities. The role of Technical Document Controller will be to support the Commissioning Department on all projects. As a vital member of their Operations Team, your responsibilities will include compiling and meticulously verifying commissioning packs for electronic and hard copy submissions when necessary.

The successful candidate will be joining the team in Limerick. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Check for accuracy and review commissioning packs/documents
  • Review and update other technical documents/procedures
  • Distribute reports & updates to the commissioning team
  • File documents in physical and digital records
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the commissioning team
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information in line with current legal regulation
  • Liaising closely with the commissioning team to ensure documents are submitted on time
  • Other ad hoc duties which may be assigned by your manager

Requirements

  • Proficient Microsoft Office User
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working on a construction site in a similar role desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work in an organised, accurate and methodical manner in order to satisfy deadlines
  • Natural ability to build effective working relationships through communicating daily with entire commissioning department
  • Ability to liaise and build relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Work well as part of a team, as well as individually, depending on project demands
  • Strong IT skills
  • Creation and upkeep of documentation during the project lifecycles
  • Maintain databases on internal company SharePoint platform
  • Ensuring on-time delivery
  • Work at their own initiative and promote process improvements
